The Power House

This beautiful listed building on Chiswick High Road was originally part of an enormous power station built in 1901 to power the first stretch of tramway in West London and is now home to Metropolis Studios, the largest independently-operated recording complex in the world.

Some of the musical legends who have recorded, mixed or mastered their records here include The Rolling Stones, Prince, Queen, George Michael, Amy Winehouse, Elton John, Adele, Rhianna, Jay-Z, Justin Bieber, Mark Ronson and Lady Gaga.

Staffed by internationally renowned Grammy award winning engineers the studio boasts a unique architectural structure with vast windows. The recording suites are designed around a 20 metre high atrium filled with platforms and walkways creating a spacious creative atmosphere.

In addition, The Power House contains a 35 space car park and 19 residential apartments.
