Overview

Helical completed a comprehensive refurbishment of 25 Charterhouse Square in March 2017.

Following the purchase of a new 155 year long leasehold interest, Helical carried out an extensive redevelopment of the existing building, reconfiguring the internal, adding a further floor of office space and retail at ground level, providing 6 floors of Grade A office space (38,355 sq ft excluding 2 ground floor retail units at 2,965 sq ft and 2,173 sq ft respectively) representing a 29% uplift over the original building.

The building benefits from 90 cycle spaces, a corresponding number of lockers and 9 showers all with a dedicated access and lift provision separate from the front door of the building. The scheme has achieved both BREEAM Excellent and WiredScore Gold.

The building enjoys direct access to the newly refurbished Charterhouse Square garden and is on the doorstep of the Farringdon East Crossrail ticket hall.

25 Charterhouse Square is fully let with 18,716 sq ft occupied by global marketing agency Anomaly, 6,530 sq ft by Peakon, a leading analytics and employee engagement software provider, 11,720 sq ft by The Senator Group, Britain’s largest manufacturer of high quality office furniture, and 6,527 sq ft by Hudson Sandler, an award-winning communications consultancy.

The building recently won the OAS Development Award for Best City Refurbishment/Regeneration.
