The Bower recognised for its sustainability work by the Property Week Climate Crisis Initiatives Awards

Vibrant office and leisure destination The Bower has been shortlisted in the Climate Crisis Initiative – Commercial Property category thanks to the implementation of an innovative Bio Hygiene cleaning program with the support of specialist cleaning partner GreenZone.

Since putting the regime in place, The Bower has seen a 50% reduction in plastic packaging and a 90% reduction in carbon.

Associate Director of the team at The Bower Gary Metcalf said ‘We are delighted to be finalists and the results at The Bower show the huge potential environmental and health benefits of challenging the norms in facilities management.’

The winners will be announced at the Property Awards on the 7th June.
